(The Shorthorn) (U-WIRE) ARLINGTON, Texas -- If it weren't for Arlington Hall, Brad Baker may still be living with his parents in Grand Prairie.

During the summer, the business junior saw the full-scale mock bedrooms in the University Center, which convinced him it was time to live on campus.

"This place sort of brought me in," said Baker, who, with the help of his parents, moved in on Friday. "When I took the tour, it looked like a pretty good deal."

Just as they did for Baker, the hall's features - direct connections to the campus' network, cable service and movable furniture, among others - attracted students to the new facility.
