(The Collegian) (U-WIRE) TOLEDO, Ohio -- On Oct. 6, students and faculty will be cautioned to "watch [their] step," as construction of the new residence hall begins, said Norman Koenigseker, interim director of capital projects and space planning.
While this October date has been planned since last year, the completion date was delayed by a year, Koenigseker said. The $32 million co-ed residence hall, which is still in the design process, was originally to be completed by fall 2001. It is now expected to open its doors by fall 2002.
Koenigseker said the primary reason for the delayed date was the change in university presidents. Former UT President Vik ...
