Farrakhan's declaration of war.
Before the million men left the Mall a year ago, Minister Louis Farrakhan and many others were convinced that the U.S. government had secretly declared war against the dynamic Muslim leader, the expression of his views, and his emergence as an independent and powerful force in American and foreign affairs.
The year since has been a year if portentous escalation and miscalculation.
