Stefanie Powers knocks `em dead in Applause.
Watch out Broadway, there's a new musical star heading for the Great White Way! Stefanie Powers, who is best known for her role in the television series Hart to Hart, is wowing audiences as Margo Channing in the Broadway-bound revival of Applause.
The popular 1970 musical which is based upon the movie All About Eve features a book written by award-winning lyricists and playwrights Betty Comden and Adolph Green The Will Rogers Follies, music by Charles Strouse Annie and Rags, and lyrics by Lee Adams Bye, Bye, Birdie.
