WA: Govt s ordering police raid won t be tolerated: Beazley
PERTH, Sept 18 AAP - The Labor Party would not tolerate the ' `bullying' actions of
the government in ordering a police raid on an ALP staffer's home, Opposition leader Kim
Beazley said today.
Mr Beazley said he regarded the incident - as a serious breach of parliamentary privilege.
Australian Federal Police (AFP) raided the Canberra home of Philip Dorling, adviser
to opposition foreign affairs spokesman Laurie Brereton early last Saturday morning.
Mr Beazley said he had written to House of Representatives Speaker Neil Andrew to complain,
