A different Jewish Book Month.

Why was this last Jewish book month different from all other Jewish book months?

Very simply, by the publication of books of Jewish interest in the university presses of the English-speaking world. Sure there was the usual cornucopia of volumes from Jewish publishers: Shocken, Ktav and the venerable Jewish Publication Society. This time around, they were accompanied - indeed, outdone - by university publishers.
