We all have our cross to bear when it comes to illegal drugs.
The rhetoric is not likely to end any time soon. Just when Black America was sure that long-held suspicions about government plots to channel the drug trade into the Black community were about to be confirmed, it suddenly appears a paper tiger was being wrestled with.
The newspaper which broke the story, the San Jose (California) Mercury News, has toned down its promotion of the story considerably, as it has quietly sent the reporter of the series of stories, "The CIA/Contra connection," on a sabbatical/lecture circuit.
