Over the years, the Philadelphia Clef Club for Jazz & Performing Arts has become renowned for its "sacred concerts" which combine the best elements of Jazz and sacred music. Usually, such concerts consist of a small ensemble of jazz musicians with a guest soloist like Bobby Watson or Steve Turre performing with a church choir.
