Bill Cosby to write children's easy-reader books for Scholastics.

Bill Cosby, one of America's greatest storytellers, has written a series of six early chapter books for children to be published by Scholastic's Cartwheel Books next year. Targeting beginning readers, ages 7 to 10, the Little Bill stories use subtlety, humor and good storytelling to address subjects such as honesty, kindness, courage, creativity, family and friendship. Little Bill will be published in both hardcover and paperback, starting with four titles in the fall of 1997.
