This is MORNING EDITION from NPR News. I'm Bob Edwards.
Today at the Olympics in Sydney, the track and field competition got
under way, and there's much interest in Marion Jones. The US star
is trying to win five gold medals. She got off to a good start, winning
her first two preliminary heats in the 100-meter sprint, but some
say Jones has set her sights too high. From Sydney, NPR's Eric Weiner
reports.
