Oly: Extensive road closures for Olympics final day

SYDNEY, Sept 29 AAP - There will be extensive road closures around the city on Sunday
for the men's marathon and Olympic Closing Ceremony festivities, transport authorities
said today.
Traffic arrangements for the last day of the Games are expected to cause widespread
disruption and people have been urged to plan the journeys carefully, avoid the men's
marathon route and allow plenty of time for their trip.
Sydney Harbour Bridge will close at 3pm on Sunday and reopen at 5pm, although lanes
7 and 8 will remain closed all night because of the fireworks display, Sydney 2000 said.
