Wre: Aussie wrestler beaten by reigning champion

SYDNEY, Sept 29 AAP - Australian wrestler Igor Praporshchikov lost his first fight
tonight to the reigning 85kg world champion.

Russian champion Adam Saitiev overcame the Australian in the fifth minute to win by
grand superiority, 11-0.

But Praporshchikov went out hard, keeping his opponent to a score of just three at half time.

When he lost his footing on a slippery section of mat, the Russian began to score more
frequently.
