(The Daily Aztec) (U-WIRE) SAN DIEGO -- The "mountain" ahead is looking steeper for San Diego State.

San Diego State women's soccer team (3-9) is in the midst of a six-game homestand that started on a positive beat. After winning their first game, the Aztecs have lost their last two, including Sunday's contest to Harvard, 1-0.

With Mountain West Conference play beginning Thursday, the Aztecs appear to be limping into conference play. However, assistant coach Jill Young saw some positives in the defeat.
