Fed: Paralympic flame begins its journey

The Paralympic flame has been lit in Canberra in a celebration of indigenous culture
and is about to begin its epic 14 day journey across Australia.

The flame was created at dawn by Canberra's indigenous Ngunnawal people in a traditional
smoking ceremony outside Parliament House.

Local school children and Aboriginal performers danced around the cauldron, watched
by a crowd of more than 100 people.
