Ossie Davis narrates Ken Burn's new film, "Thomas Jefferson," an elegant portrait of our third president, a man both revered for his authorship of the most sacred of American documents and condemned as a life-long owner of slaves. It will be broadcast as a "General Motors Mark of Excellence Presentation" on PBS Tuesday, Feb. 18 and Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1997 (9:00-10:30 p.m., ET, each night). Burns is the director, producer and executive producer; Camilla Rockwell is the co-producer.
