Planners of community relations talks dubbed insensitive to Blacks.

A national meeting that'll be held here in March, aimed at discussing community relations, hit a bump when a top community activist pointed out the absence of Blacks among the chairpersons.

After Rev. Willie Sims drew attention to the omission, organizers of the first National Conference on Community Relations sought to blame it on a printing error. But Sims says he rejects that explanation.

"The printer doesn't print anything that it isn't given. That (comment) is just indicative of the mentality of the individuals we are dealing with," Sims said.
