VACCO TOUTS AGE REQUIREMENT TO HELP EXTINGUISH TEEN SMOKING.
Attorney General Dennis C. Vacco urged New York youth to back his new proposal to fight his multi-faceted plan to curb teen smoking, including a measure that would hike the minimum purchase age for tobacco pruducts from 18 to 21.
"These initiatives are designed to save lives and spare families from the agony of seeing loved ones stricken by tobacco induced illnesses," Attorney General Vacco said.
The Attorney General discussed his anti-smoking proposals with his newly-formed Youth Advisory Board, a statewide panel made-up of high school students who have demonstrated leadership skills. The students ...
