African Americans Seek Conservative Investment Vehicles.

Ariel Mutual Funds released results of the first national investment survey of African Americans. The survey, conducted by the independent research firm, Roper Starch Worldwide, found that African Americans rely on conservative investment vehicles and risk-averse strategies, while looking for higher returns, and are more likely to seek the advice of a financial planner.
