(The Heights) (U-WIRE) CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Students for a Free Tibet, a new organization at Boston College, held their first open forum last Wednesday evening, where they showed a film that outlined what exactly the "Free Tibet" movement is all about.
Until the mid-20th century, Tibet was an independent nation on China's western border. Most inhabitants were Buddhists, living nonviolent and peaceful lives under the direction of their spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama.
