Giving Voice: Cabaret singer and actress Andrea Marcovicci finally gets to sing the role of Anne Frank.
Andrea Marcovicci has waited over 20 years for this part.
The wait began in 1973 when her friend, writer Enid Futterman, noticed that with her hair cut a certain way the young actress-singer looked "like one of the famous photographs of Anne Frank." Futterman recalls, "It put something into my mind."
