Dialoguing, Not Demonizing, At Bar-Ilan.

The Rabin assassination has led to much soul-searching throughout Israel. Most important it has drawn the majority to search for ways to dialogue, not to demonize, to work toward consensus and not to pull apart. We now understand the justice of a recent cartoon in Ma'ariv which, under the label "incitement," showed a double barreled revolver pointing both left and right.

Incitement and demonization are suicide, as our ancestors proved to their folly and tragedy 1,925 years ago, when the Second Temple was destroyed.

Henry Siegman clearly has never learned that lesson, ...
