MOT: Gronholm wins title as Burns takes race

CARDIFF, Nov 26 Reuters - Marcus Gronholm won the rally world title in his first full
season today while Richard Burns completed a rare hat-trick of victories in Britain.
Burns beat his Peugeot rival into second place in the final rally of the season by
one minute 5.6 seconds but Gronholm always knew he needed finish no higher than fifth
to take the title.
Gronholm ended with 65 points to Burns's 60.
"I've been beaten by a better driver this year. I'll have to do better next year,"
said Subaru's Burns who finished runner-up in the championship.
