I would like to congratulate Teresa McAleavy for being an advocate
for the mentally ill. This is a thank you for her understanding of the
pressures and problems of those who suffer from this "brain disease."
She has unselfishly dedicated her time and energy to this cause --
not only in her columns, but by moderating the TALKS program at Bergen
Regional Medical Center in 1999 and 2000. These TALKS conferences
