This was one of the questions that ignited "Miscegenation Generation," a University of California-Davis forum on interracial relationships sponsored by Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.
Twelve panelists from various ethnic groups and various positions on interracial dating discussed potential problems of interracial relationships.
UC-Davis student Christina Jacobs said that race is an important factor in marriage and should be taken seriously. She said she does not believe in African American men marrying outside of their race.
