U.S. Supreme Court to Florida Supreme Court: Try it again
WASHINGTON, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- The Supreme Court of the United States Monday
unanimously ordered the Florida Supreme Court to say why it extended the state's
deadline for a final vote tally.
The justices on the U.S. Supreme Court threw out the state court ruling and
basically told the Florida Supreme Court to give it another try. The justices
indicated they did not have enough information to decide whether the state court
ruling violated federal law or the U.S. Constitution.
