better for Bush than Gore Washington, D.C. - The U.S. Supreme Court
today
vacated the Florida Supreme Court's decision that extended vote counting
deadlines in the presidential election. The Florida Supreme Court
now will
revisit its ruling. U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo., also was very
pleased
with the Leon County ruling against manual recounts. "Bush won on
every
single issue. It's important to note that Judge N. Sanders Sauls had
already
reviewed the Supreme Court decision, so his ruling is consistent.
