Soc: KNIGHTS, KINGZ TO WEAR SHIRTS DECRYING RACISM

AUCKLAND, Dec 7 NZPA - The Football Kingz and the Melbourne Knights will precede their
national soccer league clash here tomorrow night by wearing red shirts asking fans to
decry racism in the game.

And fans at NSL matches this week will be given red cards reading "give racism the red card".

Kingz general manager Chris Turner said the move by Soccer Australia was in line with
the push by soccer's governing body FIFA to eradicate an ugly side of the sport which
has become increasingly prevalent.
