Vic: Govt expecting Intergraph outage report today

MELBOURNE, Dec 21 AAP - The Victorian government is expecting a detailed report today
into how and why Melbourne's triple-O service blacked out this week.

The Intergraph-run emergency call service, covering police, fire and ambulance, failed
for about six minutes on Tuesday night and a backup generator did not kick in. Telstra
said no emergency calls were reported during that period.

Police and Emergency Services Minister Andre Haermeyer (Andre Haermeyer) said he was
expecting a full report on the incident today.
