Stand for Healthy Children Campaign co-chairs named

Rosa Parks, the mother of America's modern Civil Rights Movement, and talk show host Rosie O'Donnell will serve as co-chairs for a massive national "Stand for Healthy Children" campaign to be launched June 1. It is sponsored by the Children's Defense Fund, headed by Marian Wright-Edelman.

The campaign falls on the heels of the historic "Stand for Children" rally held last June at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. This year's campaign, according to Edelman, will include hundreds of local efforts.
