The state of Maryland acknowledged a little piece of its own history
this afternoon by dedicating an historical marker to Mother Jones.
This icon of the American labor movement lived her last few years
at a farm in Hyattsville, Maryland. And that's where she died 70
years ago this week at the age of 100.
