BATTLE GROUND -- Local police ticketed a 20-year-old store clerk Wednesday after she allegedly sold beer to a 20-year-old undercover operative.
Jennie M. Gullickson, 24316 N.E. 209th St., was cited for allegedly selling beer to a minor, according to a Battle Ground police bulletin. She works at the Wayside Market, the report said.
Police had received a complaint about store clerks selling beer to minors. A teen-ager bought beer, went to a party on Larch Mountain and crashed a car. As a result, police organized a sting, with a 20-year-old volunteer who attempted to buy beer in several stores under the supervision of police.
