BURJ BRAJNEH CAMP, Beirut, Jan. 17 (IPS) -- The plight of
Palestinian refugees in Lebanon has come to the forefront over
the past month, as Israeli and Palestinian negotiators try to
reach a last-minute agreement before the new U.S. president takes
office and Israel holds elections on Feb. 6.
But in Lebanon, Palestinians feel little has been done to help
them. Umm Walid, a mother of two, has never known life outside
the Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon.
