RL: NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA SHARE WORLD CUP

AUCKLAND, Jan 20, NZPA - New Zealand and Australia were judged joint shareholders of
the inaugural Youth Touch World Cup after the tournament ended in deadlock at Auckland
here today.

New Zealand had to fight back and win the remaining three divisions after Australia
took an early 3-0 lead.

The under-19 mixed, under-19 women's and under-21 women's divisions all went to Australia.

However New Zealand struck back to clinch the under-19 men's and under-21 mixed titles
before securing an overall tie when the hosts won the under-21 men's final 7-5.
