A year of accomplishment at White Earth
White Earth, MN _ June 25 marked the anniversary of the White Earth Reservation's transition to democracy and open government - 365 days of fundamental change, which began with periods of uncertainty and turmoil and has developed into a process of learning, growth and ultimately, hope.
During the past year, the White Earth Reservation Tribal Council - with the help and guidance of tribal members determined to make a better life on the long-troubled reservation accomplished the following;
