(The Daily) (U-WIRE) SEATTLE -- In an age when birth control is increasingly easy to access and afford, being young and sexually active without birth control is a hard situation for many to justify. Yet many women still go without it.

"It seems to me that I know a lot of people who are sexually active and who aren't on birth control," said University of Washington freshman Kelly Miranda. "And basically I just think that is totally irrational."

College couples everywhere are making the decision to be sexually active and, in many cases, are also choosing to seek methods of birth control.
