(The Diamondback) (U-WIRE) COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Local musicians and their fans can visit washingtonpost.com's new MP3 site at www.washingtonpost.com/mp3. The free site lets artists upload songs that listeners can download.
Fans can search music based on a band's genre and whether they're from Maryland, Virginia, Washington or West Virginia. Each band has a page with a brief biography, a photo, their e-mail and Web addresses, and a list of the songs they have online.
Viewers can also get a list of the top 50 downloaded songs, or see the most recently added songs. For people who are concerned with things such as ethics, the site is an example of a ...
