Fed: Commonwealth business customers brace for more fees

MELBOURNE, Feb 21 AAP - New bank fees will be introduced by the Commonwealth Bank targeting
small business customers who deposit large amounts of cash.
The new cash-handling fee will apply from April 2 to small business operators when
they deposit or withdraw more than $3,000 in cash through a Commonwealth Bank teller.
The Commonwealth has told business customers the cash handling fee would apply at the
rate of 0.25 per cent on the amount of cash over the $3,000 threshold.
