PETE McDonough has become the latest aide to trade a post in former
Governor Christie Whitman's front office for a lucrative job as a
lobbyist.
McDonough, who served as Whitman's chief spokesman during her
truncated second term, will become president of Winning Strategies
Communications, a Newark-based public relations, advertising, and
lobbying firm headed by Jim McQueeney.
McDonough will split his time between the Newark and Washington,
