(The Collegiate Times) (U-WIRE) BLACKSBURG, Va. -- The Interior Design Program of Virginia Tech has been ranked 13th in the nation by the Almanac of Architecture and Design 2001.
More than 300 top interior design and architecture firms were asked to pick from 140 Foundation for Interior Design Education and Research interior design programs, said Jennifer Evans, managing editor of the Almanac.
Design principals, directors of design and human resource directors were asked to rank the programs based on recently hired graduates' job performance and ability to meet expectations, Evans said.
