A List of Municipal Gas Stations

CHINA, Mar 22, 2001 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- Beijing: It has 67 gas stations available, including 45 new ones (36 are operational). Of the 67 stations, 19 are CNG stations, accounting for 28 percent, while the remainder are LPG stations.

Shanghai: It built 65 gas stations by the end of 2000. While LPG stations prevail, CNG stations are mainly built in Pudong. The municipality plans to remold 40,000 gas-fired cars and build 70 gas stations in 2001, enabling the total number of gas stations to reach 135.

Tianjin: It has only two gas stations and less than 40 remolded cars at present. Tianjin plans to build and revamp 15 gas stations ...
