(The BG News) (U-WIRE) BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- A bill recently passed by Bowling Green State University Undergraduate
Student government requiring all students to purchase health insurance originated in idea from a top administrator in Student Health Services.
Josh Kaplan, director of the Student Health Center, said he believes students without health insurance make it harder to provide health care. He approached USG senator Kate Newnam about the issue and she later authored the USG bill passed on Feb. 26.
