Article: Fired Mount Vernon College faculty sue for compensation

(The GW Hatchet) (U-WIRE) WASHINGTON -- Former Mount Vernon College professors will seek compensation from George Washington University in D.C. Superior Court on Monday, charging that their contracts were violated when GW took over the campus in 1999.

Filing suit against Mount Vernon College, which now exists only as a corporate entity with no financial assets, the professors seek about $5 million in lost salaries and benefits, said Michael Kane, the plaintiffs' lawyer.
