03/30/01 - ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. (AFPN) -- In 1995 the Israeli
air force decided to upgrade its fleet of F-15 Eagle aircraft, and
called
on the U.S. Air Force for help.
That help came from the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center here
in the
form of hardware and software modifications, and upgrades of the Israeli
fleet to incorporate advanced medium range air-to-air missile capability,
said Dawn Etheredge, primary program manager.
A team from the software division of the avionics management
directorate delivered the final software operational flight program
suite
