(Daily Trojan) (U-WIRE) LOS ANGELES -- Welfare recipients, drug addicts and the homeless were the unifying concerns of a diverse and overflowing crowd in a lively forum on Charitable Choice and President Bush's faith-based initiative Monday afternoon at the University of Southern California's Davidson Conference Center.
The forum -- sponsored by USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture, USC Civic and Community Relations and California Council of Churches sought to clarify issues related to the faith-based initiative, facilitate debate and provide tools to give the attendees more information.
