Fed: Unemployment down 0.1 per cent to 6.8 per cent = 2

The fall in the number of people in employment was all due to a 15,700 drop in part-time jobs.

Full-time employment actually improved 7,200 to almost 6.7 million.

The number of people looking for full-time work fell by 20,000 people to 478,100, although
the number of people looking for part-time work increased by 8,600.
