MOT: Rossi to lead Grand Prix racing into new era

MELBOURNE, May 6 AAP - Motorcycle Grand Prix racing will usher in a Formula One-style
structure next year - and the biggest two-wheel world tour may have a superstar of F1
proportions by then.

Italian youngster Valentino Rossi's domination of 500cc racing has stamped him as potentially
the sport's biggest icon and the only motorcycle rider who could come close to rivaling
F1 triple world champion Michael Schumacher's status.
