Gov. Bush Goes to West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Gov. Jeb Bush was taking Florida's elections reform package Wednesday to the county that was ground zero in the disputed presidential election eventually won by the governor's brother.

Bush was making two stops to sign the measure into law, just five days after it was passed by the Legislature.

His first was to be in West Palm Beach, home of the infamous, large-print ``butterfly ballot'' that some Democrats say was so confusing that it cost Gore thousands of votes and prompted early demands for a recount.
