Republican Budget puts American Families First WASHINGTON, DC -- Idaho
Congressman C.L. "Butch" Otter voted today to pass the FY 2002 budget
resolution.
The measure passed by a vote of 221 to 207. "This Republican budget
is
a bold and responsible statement that places the concerns of hard-
working
families in Idaho and across American ahead of the concerns of Washington
bureaucracy," Otter said. "While I believe that our nation deserves
and
can afford additional tax relief, the package included in this bill
is
