Article: Oregon State U. pow-wow ends Native American week of celebration

(OSU Daily Barometer) (U-WIRE) CORVALLIS, Ore. -- After hosting several events in honor of Native American Education Week the Native American Student Association has saved its largest event until the end.

Nearly 3,000 people are expected to gather in Gill Coliseum Saturday and Sunday to celebrate Native American culture and tradition at the Oregon State University Pow-wow.

NASA has invited several dancers, drummers and venders from tribes across the nation to attend the event in order to share their cultural heritage and tradition with each other, OSU and the greater community.
