NSW: Liberal Party under fire over "country" website

SYDNEY, May 24 AAP - The NSW Liberal Party came under attack today for potentially
damaging the federal party's election campaign after a breakaway group set up a "Country
Liberals" website.

The website, organised by a group of northern NSW Liberal Party members, listed Liberal
Party MPs from the bush and information about regional seats, including those traditionally
held by the National Party.

Its title was changed overnight, however, to "Liberals in rural and regional NSW" following
